چکیده

The technology of free-space optical communication (FSOC) systems has some distinctive merits compared to other technologies. Its use is extremely beneficial meet the exigencies telecommunications and wireless networks (OTWNs). However, since OTWNs transport a lot data, choice reliable modulation scheme highly crucial. To this end, focus paper an in-depth study Point-to-Point Optical Link (P2P-OL) system under FSOC-Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) channel using optimal scheme. Furthermore, atmospheric turbulence (AT) effects over FSOC-MIMO are incorporated in proposed obtain substantial results. performance analysis test high-rate P2P-OL validated case that decreases significantly when AT gets strong regimes. Finally, uses Non-Return Zero Pulse Generator-Mach-Zehnder Modulator ((NRZPG-MZM)) scheme, which displays acceptable levels dust-fog meteorological environment LNF FSOC-9 × 9 with attenuation value 59.66 dB/km (i.e., max OSNR = 24.9 dB, min BER 1e − 09, Q-factor 6), whereas same G-G channel, 58.55 24.67 6).

Modeling of RF Waves in Free Space Optical Communication System Under Gamma-Gamma Turbulent Channel Effect

In this paper, an enhancement design of communication system using optical radio frequency (RF) waves in free space optical communication (FSO) system is presented. To our knowledge, it is the first time that the effect of Gamma-Gamma turbulent channel model on the performance of the proposed system is analyzed and simulated. To obtain an optical communication system with good performance and h...

Performance Analysis of MIMO/FSO Systems Using SC-QAM Signaling over Atmospheric Turbulence Channels

We theoretically study the performance of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) free-space optical (FSO) systems using subcarrier quadrature modulation (SC-QAM) signaling. The system average symbolerror rate (ASER) is derived taking into account the atmospheric turbulence effects on the MIMO/FSO channel, which is modeled by log-normal and the gamma-gamma distributions for weak and moderate-to-s...

Atmospheric turbulence mitigation in an OAM-based MIMO free-space optical link using spatial diversity combined with MIMO equalization.

We explore the mitigation of atmospheric turbulence effects for orbital angular momentum (OAM)-based free-space optical (FSO) communications with multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) architecture. Such a system employs multiple spatially separated aperture elements at the transmitter/receiver, and each transmitter aperture contains multiplexed data-carrying OAM beams. We propose to use spatial...

MIMO Free-Space Optical Communication Employing Subcarrier Intensity Modulation in Atmospheric Turbulence Channels

In this paper, we analyse the error performance of transmitter/receiver array free-space optical (FSO) communication system employing binary phase shift keying (BPSK) subcarrier intensity modulation (SIM) in clear but turbulent atmospheric channel. Subcarrier modulation is employed to eliminate the need for adaptive threshold detector. Direct detection is employed at the receiver and each subca...
